From mobile API to full-stack ownership
The collaboration started with an app discovery phase and a technical assessment of the websites, including a review of the technologies they were built on. After that initial stage, WEZOM's scope began with writing the API layer the mobile app needed, work that had to be built out largely from scratch. From there, the team took on website feature work alongside the app, then backend development, then frontend. By early 2026, WEZOM held complete ownership of the website's backend and frontend as well as the mobile app, a transition that took place gradually, feature by feature, over several months.
One Flutter codebase, two branded apps

The mobile application for Simply Dating was built on a single Flutter codebase, later reused to build a second app with the same chat, video, and credit-based functionality for UkraineBridesAgency, wrapped in its own visual design. Sharing one codebase across two branded apps keeps feature updates consistent between them without duplicating engineering effort.
Mirrored releases across two brands
Because both brands share a single backend, new features are released to Simply Dating first, then migrated to UkraineBridesAgency's environment on its own release branch. Both sites run on Microsoft Azure, and the team built the operational fluency to move a feature from one brand's environment to the other reliably, without duplicating the underlying logic.
A structured release cadence
Full ownership of the website and mobile apps came with a structured engineering process: a dedicated test environment, a standard two-week release cycle for production updates, and regular reporting and demos with the client. In-app credit pricing on both platforms reflects the platform fees charged by the App Store and Google Play, on top of the same base pricing used on the website.
- Flutter, cross-platform framework for the iOS and Android apps for both brands
- ASP.NET Core on .NET 10 with React and TypeScript, backend for both websites, the mobile Web API, and background jobs, and the website frontend
- SignalR and Azure SignalR Service, dedicated real-time chat and WebRTC signaling
- WebRTC with Xirsys for STUN and TURN and Cloudflare Stream for video storage, native in-browser video calling with no third-party video service
- Microsoft SQL Server via Dapper, with Redis (FusionCache and StackExchange.Redis) for caching and distributed locking
- Unlimint and PayPal for web credit purchases, RevenueCat to reconcile in-app purchases from the App Store and Google Play
- Firebase Cloud Messaging, push notifications
- Microsoft Azure, App Service, Functions, Blob, Queue and File Storage, Key Vault, Azure AD B2C for user sign-in, and Application Insights
- Sentry, SendPulse, and Cloudflare Turnstile, error monitoring, transactional email, and bot protection
From a mobile-only engagement to full ownership of the platform
The collaboration began with an app discovery phase and a technical assessment of the websites, followed by mobile app development alongside the client's existing website. Ownership grew steadily as WEZOM took on the website's API, then its features, then its full backend and frontend, reaching complete engineering ownership of both platforms by February 2026. The Simply Dating app for Android launched in May 2026 and has reached 1.8k+ installs on Google Play since then.

Website updates and mobile releases now run on a standard two-week cadence, supported by a dedicated test environment and regular reporting and demos with the client.
A second mobile application, built on the same Flutter codebase with UkraineBridesAgency's own visual design, is in development for Android and is expected to extend the same chat, video, and credit-based experience to a second audience.
The cooperation continues as a full-time dedicated engineering team covering the website and mobile apps for both brands.
